The Mobile Engine Ltd research and development strategy is based around cooperation. We believe that in order for us to be able to provide the highest possible level of service to our customers we need to work together with world class national academic research institutes. Mobile Engine Ltd’s current and future research partners are:

Budapest University of Technology and Economics as a prestigious Hungarian higher education institute is committed to differentiated, multilevel, high-standard education, founded on intensive basic training, research, development and innovation, and scientific qualification in technical and natural sciences and in certain fields of economic and social sciences.

University of Miskolc is the largest north Hungarian higher education institution. Due to the well trained professionals,  equipments and laboratories, the institution became a considerable research base and scientific workshop of the national scientific  researches and technical developments.

To provide a stable foundation for the national and international competitiveness of the research, development and innovation (R&D&I) accomplishments of the Hungarian ICT sector, leading research facilities have collaborated to establish the Mobility and Multimedia Cluster. Bird Telecom Ltd. is one of the founding members of the cluster.

The goal of the North Hungarian IT Cluster is to promote the development of the information technology industry in the region. The foundation of the organization is an advance to a higher level of cooperation among the local information technology firms and the region educational institutions which are connected to the information science, the University of Miskolc and the Eszterházy Károly College.

The Mobile Innovation Centre was established to solve the scientific and technological questions which contribute to the clearing up of the problems existing in future mobile and wireless systems, to the implementation of 3G services and to the introduction of later mobile and wireless communication technologies and to the development of the up-to-date applications on the systems.

Bay Zoltan Foundation for Applied Research is Hungary's largest non-profit applied research organization.

The Hungarian Economy Development Center, within the bounds of the New Hungarian Development Plan, has created the Economy Development Operative Program in order to strengthen the national industrial sector and environment.

The Hungarian National Research and Technology Office acts as a centre for academics, technology and innovation policy creation and implementation. This office provides both financial and strategical support for the creation, implementation and use of new knowledge and technology.

Interuniversity telecommunications and IT center acts as a cooperative research center which is funded by the Hungarian National Research and Technology Office.
